        TrainSpeed
  • Displays the scale speed of your train in MPH or KPH.
  • Works for all scales.
  • Designed for control panel or façade mounting.
  • Use it to match the speed of MU’ed locomotives.
  • Uses ambient light to detect the train (will not work in the dark) – no need to rewire track or modify rolling stock.
  • Bright 3 digit red LED display.
  • Powered by the auxiliary 12V AC or DC from your power pack or an optional transformer.
  • Sensors can be mounted up to 9 metres from display unit and are mounted in the track - no modifications necessary to track wiring or trains. Extension cables are available.

        TrainSpeed 4

  • Save money !!! All basic details the same as TrainSpeed.
  • Monitors the speed at four points along your layout – can be either 4 points on the same track or 4 different tracks.
  • Single display and power supply, but 4 completely separate circuits.
  • Additional display digit shows which sensor has been triggered.

Both units are available in two versions ....

  1. 'Normal' version will record speeds up to 200 Mph or KMph
  2. 'Bullet Train' version will record speeds over 300 Mph or KMph
