BACK ISSUES EDITORIAL While I usually do the newsletters on a weekend, there is new stuff this week, and I have a three day exhibition to attend this weekend, so the next issue will also probably be during the week next week. If you have any comments about this service, and would like to make suggestions as to what you do or do not want to see included, please free free to let us know. We hope to supply at least one issue per week, more if there is more news. 28th September 2004 On the 7th October, Greenmax will release some more items in their pre-painted kit range ... 1014T - Keio Teito 6000 4 car total set (new colour) Tomix have some details of their new Tokaido line version of the E231 EC's on their web page. 24th September 2004 On the 30th September, the Tomix 2769 Koki106 container wagon will be re-released, the new version of the Kiha58 DC's and the new catalog will also be out. On the 1st October, the Tomix E1 series TEC sets will be release in the new colour scheme, as well as the newly-packaged 700-7000 series TEC 'Railstar' sets. 22nd September 2004 On the 28th September, Kato will release the 205-5000 series EC Musashino line set, and on the 5th October will be the first of the newly tooled EF66 EL's. Also Modemo will release the older style 500 series Enoshima tram on the 29th September. 14th September 2004 MicroAce's tentative releases for February 2005 have been announced, as follows ... A8190 DF40-1 DL
On the 23rd September, Tomix released the next three in the re-tooled DD51 DL range, including the limited edition 'Euroliner' version. On the 22nd September, Kato re-released the EH10 EL. On the 17th September, Tomix released the 1099 18.5mm/33mm Finetrack set and re-released the 2778 Koki104 container wagon. Just out from MicroAce is .... 15th September 14th September On the 10th September, Tomix released the 4011 island platform set, and re-released the 92801 Thomas set. |

Not actually out yet, but I will have a copy by the time the next Newsletter is published. Since Tomix have 'missed' a year for the first time in many years, this is an eagerly awaited item. Too bad we are still waiting for news of Kato's new catalog; it was originally also 'supposedly' out in September - but we have only had to wait FOUR years for that one !!! As you can guess, the Enoden is one of my favourite railways !!! This DVD has been on my 'wishlist' for quite a while, and I couldn't even find one in Tokyo last trip. After a short intro of runbys, the main menu appears, which contains the following items ...
The only negative thing I can say about this DVD, is that you cannot use the Chapter control to jump form one station to the next. But certainly the next best thing to riding on the line, and a very valuable reference if you are going to model it (as I am!!!).
