When using Paypal, please note the following ...
- Do NOT use Paypal if you are a customer in Australia !!!
- All Paypal transactions are to be in US$, even though Paypal are now happy to do
transactions in several other currencies (eg A$, GPB, JPY, Euro etc).
Because we make our payments in US$, if you do not pay us directly in this
currency, there will be extra conversion fees involved.
- When you pay in US$, we will calculate the amount for you, as we have to use THEIR exchange rate
calculator to work it out. Please note that Paypal uses an exchange rate that is
comparable to those used by retail currency exchange facilities which offer exchange
of comparable amounts of currency to the general public. This exchange rate may be
higher than some publicly reported commercial exchange rates used in transactions
between banks and financial institutions, and those calculated and published on
certain web page facilities. Please do not try to calculate the exchange rate
yourself - when the total of your order is finalised, we will do that based on the
current rate that Paypal is advertising on their merchants page. Their calculator
also takes into account any fees they may charge.
- Paypal have a minimum US$25 withdrawal, so if your order is under that
limit and there are no other orders in the system, there could be a delay
before we can collect the money and order your goods.
- Please use the email address "accounts@Japanese-Trains.com",
and include your name and full postal address, and also what items you are
purchasing. You wouldn't believe how many people send money without saying
what it is for, and sometimes even use a different email address to the one
they have been using previously for correspondence !!!!
